Hey,
I've troubled shooted all of my tubes and I'm pretty sure the power tube section of the amp is causing problems with my Ghia. Purpose being all tubes get hot except for the 5Y3 power tube. I am using 1Amp Slow Blow Buss fuses. What does it mean if the amp won't light up or make any noises at all? I have replaced all of the tubes and the amp green power light won't light up and the amp won't make any noise. I have a feeling I will be mailing it to the Dr. to get it fixed. frustrating after I've gone through so many fuses to trouble shoot it.
Thanks, Eric

It's likely the 5Y3 which is your rectifier. When you say you replaced all the tubes, did you do that one too. If you have another amp with any rectifier you should be able to plug it in and see if it all comes back. If it does you know it's the rectifier. Don't leave it in. Though the Ghia can take any one, you may burn through power tubes a little quicker and the amp will sound and feel a little different. You may like it. I ran a 5AR4 in a Ghia for a while. Thought it made it a little more Marshall sounding. Try this if you haven't. drzamps.com/info/faq-troubleshoot/

I've replaced the rectifier twice within the last month and the light on the amp still won't light up and it won't make any sound.

Get a new fuse too. They can look "good" but still be "bad"

I resolved it. Fuse and Rectifier were good, the bulb was bad on the pilot light. Of course! Thanks everyone.
