Finally ordered my A60 last week, with, 1 days break in from Avatar. Knowing how subjective speaker tone can be, I was prepared to be disappointed. I must say I'm very pleased, and, believe it will get better. So clean, balanced, and detailed. It replaced a V30, the original speaker from Dr.Z. 2004 Mazerati needed alnico to perform to a higher standard. Makes me want to play everyday! After a few days the tone in my head seems to be changing. I've only played alone, so far but, excited to hear it in an ensemble. Excels at clean and mildly overdriven. The V30 sounded better at high gain, but I'll learn to regulate the gain to suit me! "You can add dirt easier than trying to add clean. I can't imagine this speaker not sounding great with any amp. And, of course, YMMV.
