The Ghia is simply an incredible amp. If there's a sound that's not in there, I don't want it. That's the truth. I've had a boat load of amps, and a boat load of Z's. I have nothing bad to say about any of the Z's. But once I listened to the Ghia it was like hearing the fundemental DNA of all the Z amps I've tried in it's most pure and distled form. My fingers are shot man. This amp is a player. I totally love it.

Nice! Love my Ghia. Going on ~8 years now. Came with a V30, which I found a bit harsh (and super loud). Went through a number of other speakers (including a creamback, which I liked much better), before settling on my current 2x10 Weber Blue/Silver combo, which I adore. I got back from a week long guitarless vacation late last night. Sent my son on a play date for a couple hours this afternoon and played my softened calluses raw through the Ghia. It felt really good to be home.

......and played my softened calluses raw through the Ghia. It felt really good to be home. I hear you on that brother. I haven't played this much in a really long time. I'm still at it with this thing. After a brief stint with a reverb pedal, I'm back to straight in. The natural overdrive on this amp is off the hook. For my needs the volume level is perfect. I feel I have a good handle on it. I'm going to play around with tubes a little bit this weekend, just cause I have em kicking around. Makes me wonder how I skipped over this amp all this time. For me this amp is all about killer OD. It cleans up nice too.
