I've been doing a bunch of experimenting with overdrive pedals with the EZG. I'll say what I've read about the EZG working really well with pedals apprears to be true.
I just ordered a Z-Drive pedal and thought I'd give it a try. Are any of you guys using one with your EZG?
From my experimenting I found that I liked the RYRA Klone and Timmy pedals into the EZG. Has anyone tried stacking those with the Z-Drive?

Nice - i'd be keen to hear how you get on with it. I'm in love with my EZG-50 and am currently hitting it with a vintage Blues Breaker pedal. But looking at the z-drive for a while now.

Well......I bought the Z-Drive used. When I received it, one side didn't work. So, I sent it back and got a refund.
I ended up ordering a Barber 1/2 Gainer pedal. I'm waiting on it to arrive. I'm going to keep my eye open for a used Z-Drive. I'll probably get one sooner or later.

I use a full tone 500 when I want to get some extra distortion, it sounds amazing with the EZG just full blown sound, great distortion clear not muddy and that really has to do with amp since I've tried it on other amps and it's not the same. Then I also use the z-vex box of rock and well that is just simply beautiful too. Honestly I think just about any pedal you put in front of this amp and it's a winner!
P.S. I just bought the V-vex fuzz factory 7 and again the EZG takes it like a champ! Amazing fuzz on that pedal.

You could have just sent it to them and gotten it fixed for free.

Yea. I sent it back to the seller and he said he was going to do that. I told him to let me know when he gets it back but he never did. Maybe he decided to keep it.
I ended up getting a Barber 1/2 Gainer pedal and recently got a KoT. So I think I'm covered now. I may get another Z-Drive one day to toy around with.
