Ghia ohm

On the back of my ghia it has 8 ohm and 4 ohm speaker outs.
Does the 4 ohm combine with the in cabinet speaker ?
So if i connect a second cab 8 ohm. The total would be 4?

No, you can't use both outputs at once. You can connect the internal speaker and a second cab, but you have to do it with a Y-cable and then go into the 4 ohm jack. Todd, pcns, on the forum can hook you up with a good one.

Todd, pcns, on the forum can hook you up with a good one. Yep, Todd is just the man to take care of you! I've ordered several cables from him and they're top notch cables at a very fair price. Shoot him a message, he could make you a Y-cable with a female jack to plug your amp speaker into and another with a male end for your email extra cab. Then the other end of the Y will plug into the 4 ohm output of the amp. |
