Had my local dealer place an order for a matching head and cab for me today!
It took a lot for me to make this decision because the purchase is dependant on me selling my Z Wreck combo. I love my wreck but after over a year of gigging with it and my band's sound going heavier the EMS seems like just what I needed.
I expect a greater projection at unmic'd gigs with the EMS's 2x12 vs the wreck combo's 1 speaker. I also expect greater and tighter gain thanks to the master volume without the compression of the brake lite I had to use with the wreck.
I'll post pics once i get the amp and I'll try to do some soundclips, though I probably won't put more effort into those beyond cell phone sound clips/videos since I don't own recording equipment.

It's gonna be tough seeing Brad Paisley here in Saratoga springs, N.Y. tonight knowing that I'm parting with my wreck soon! Just keep thinking about the greater good of the band. I have a feeling though that I'll be able to get some great country tones with my Tele and the EMS on either the JMP or JTM settings

But then again I think Dave Baker can make anything sound twangy if he wanted to.
