If a tube goes bad during a gig and I replace it with one that's not matched will this cause harm to my amp? I haven't done this yet, but I just noticed that all my spare power tubes are not matched.

Which amp do you have? The MAZ amps are cathode biased and "self-biasing". Unmatched tubes may not sound as good, but they won't hurt the amp.
If your amp has adjustable (fixed) bias and you're running "hot" bias, a "softer" tube could easily redplate, short, and harm the amp.

Both of those are cathode biased, so there's no danger in using unmatched tubes.
It probably won't sound as good.

Unmatched tubes will also wear out quicker. They will get you through the gig. Think of them like one of those 50 mile spare tires.
