Got this over the weekend. Wow it is powerful! Running it through the creamback in the M12 right now until I get a proper cab. Even through that, this thing has got some girth. Takes od pedals very well. That's the only real dirt I could get from it. Could only crank it a few times. Anybody use this through a 112 cab or should I go with a 212? A 412 is not what I'm after right now

Perhaps you need to try it through a Z-Best. I know there isn't one at L&M...but that would let it breathe a little. As well, it will have a cool 'vertical look' thing going on.
Did you buy that locally in St. John's?

No I got it from a guy in central NL Like blending those 2 volumes. Was going to sell the M12 but I just couldn't let it go!

The antidote is the highest wattage amp I've ever owned by far. Can't wait to get a cab for it.

I used a DarkHorse 1X12 cabinet with a Creamback M speaker to handle more power than the stock Greeback. Previously I had two Orange PPC 12 with Vintage 30's (though I did replace one V30 with the Creamback). Plenty loud and indeed. PS the cab works well with my current amp, a Remedy... ME

Yes there's one here locally and there's the 212 as well. Guess with the right speaker, a 112 should work. Of course, more speakers will give you a bigger sound. I wanted to know if a 112 cab would be enough to handle this amp.

So the creamback is a good fit for the antidote? That's what I tried it with and I think a 112 cab with a creamback would work well but I want to use the right cab to do the amp justice. I'm hoping I can get away with using a 112 cab. However the 212 stacked vertically would do the amp more justice. I'm hoping to get away with using a 112

I use mine thru a 2x12 cab, weber california's... real deep lows but clear and clean. Love my antidote...it is my main gigging amp now.. Letting those Twin Reverbs rest a bit. I use very few pedals but seems to like what I do put it thru..I didn't really get the Antidote to get amp grind but more of that clean country sound I was after with lots of push and thump..It is a keeper..
