Hi, I'm going to be getting a Maz Jr. 2x10 NR from a friend. Can someone tell me if the effects loop is line or instrument level? I have a THD BiValve that has an effects loop, but it is line level so most pedals don't work well in it. Does anyone use the loop on the Jr?
Thanks, Andy

Not an answer, but another question: Is the effects loop series or parallel?
Thanks! -Phil

I use the effects loop on my Maz Jr. for some reverb. I find the pre-out to be a little weak. I tried using a rack mount effects unit but there wasn't enough signal to power it even though the processor has a -10 db switch. I am currently using a floor unit Zoom reverb in the loop only because it's noisy when I plug it into an input. It works OK and I also use an old Ibanez delay pedal in the loop. I would guess from my experiences that the loop is an instrument level loop. Hope this helps.

I just ran a Maxon AD999 into my loop, and using it seems to "soften" and reduce the volume of the amp. I'll play around with it a little more tomorrow, and see if I can get it punchy again with the loop in use.

I've found the loop to work well with pedals or rack processors.
I got wonderful results immediately, when running a TC Electronics G-Major in the loop.

Oh...and my understanding is that it is a 'series' loop.
