I have a PT Mini that I'm considering using as a platform for an all-mini-pedals board. I'd like your thoughts as to what you would choose for the following: Tuner Compressor Chorus or Flanger OD Distortion Echoplex Preamp Delay Reverb
Comment on any or all pedals on the list. Please keep recommendations to 'mini' pedals (think EP Booster size). Looking forward to your input!

I did this a year or so ago and then got over it. The pedals get really close together. I had a loop pedal so I could turn on what I needed carefully before the tune and then kick them all in at once with the looper. Tuner Didn't have compressor SP Chorus Corona mini or Mod Chorus, tried both, both worked fine corona has the advantage that you can program it OD Red Witch Scarlet (which I still have and is up for sale or trade if you are interested) Distortion SL Preamp EP Delay Didn't have Reverb Hall of Fame mini Also had one of those DOD mini Wah Volumes, forget the number. Maybe FX 17

Tuner: TC Electronics Polytune Mini OD: Mooer Rumble Drive (This is a really good OD, regardless of size). Echoplex preamp: Xotic EP Booster
Don't know about the rest.

If I were getting a mini compressor, there is no way I wouldn't get the Wampler mini Ego - that thing is awesome!
And a Tumnus. Definitely a Tumnus.

Yes to the Mini Ego. I didn't know he made that version. I have the full-size version and it works at least as well as any other I've tried.

I've owned most of the PT early lineup but when I found the nano I stopped searching. The PTNano has been my main gigging board for over two years. It has enough space to hold what I need for a cover gig and not spend all night tweaking knobs incessantly bc of too many options. I have found that most of the mini pedals available today sound as good as their larger counterparts. Staples of my nano are: EP boost, Polytunemini2, SL drive and depending on the gig one or two regular sized stomps like the BBpre, Flashback delay, 70fuzz or AMT Japanese girl wah. I power everything w the first generation VOLTO and carry a one spot for back up. It's so convenient to strap the nano on my gigbag and get everything in/out in one trip.

I was intrigued by the Hot Tone line of small pedals, so I got a chorus and an echo, and they are nice. Clearly not the greatest, but very gigable and small. They make a small pedal board and I've considered created a small, absolute necessity board that's really easy to haul. I'd have a compressor, OD/Boost, delay, and chorus or flanger. That would cover a lot of ground tone-wise and be very easy to carry. My main board now is a wide HoleyBoard and it's got lots of really good stuff on it, but it's pretty big.

I would just use the t.c. electronics polytune clip for the tuner. No need to waste space on a small board with a tuner. I went to a smaller board and this is what I decided to do just use the polytune grip. That way you can use more pedals. And for a boost the fulltone 2b awesome germanium limiter for dynamics in it. For a delay the tone city tape machine. Not sure about the rest but the tone city tape machine is a awesome little delay. And the fulltone 2b is a nice warm boost. I got the tape machine as well and it is really good. I still have a strymon el capistan on my board but that little tape machine is great. Both pedals are really warm and organic. Good luck with your new board LT! Im also in the process of doing mine. Right now I just got the strymon and the Fulltone on my board. I am waiting on Jesse Davey to build my Vintage Fuzz! BTW I paid 45 bucks for the tone city tape machine shipped! Its a awesome delay!

Since this post I have acquired an Ibanez Mini Tube Screamer and a Mini Chorus. I'm as happy with these as I was with their full-size counterparts in the past. The Mini Chorus is now on my full size board.

I like em much better than the many rotary simulators I've owned (and sold).
