Hello all! I now have a Monza in my arsenal thanks to our good Z brother Justjoshinya. Packed very well! Thanks again to all on this amazing board for all the spot on descriptions, advice, and help.
Background: I play(or hunt and pick) country with some southern rock/classic rock mixed in. I've been playing my Stangray as my goto...with my Maz 18 for the change-up with pedals for the dirt/hair. I love both amps dearly! I was blown away with this rockstar "Billy in a box" Monza. I got the chance to play a friends Monza at the mini Z fest in Michigan a couple years back and I knew i wanted this amp.(Thanks again Mike) The great Doc recommended the Monza for my dream of a 2 amp setup.(Stingray/Monza). Whoa! Was he right! Surprise...surprise! I played the Monza an hour and a half...got some things done..I had to play another hour before bed! This amp is so much fun!!! I could not believe how good the Monza sounded even clean! Everyone seems to know how this amp rocks but I was very impressed with it's clean sound. I have an older one but it has the MV mod which makes this amp amazingly versatile. When you crank it up...oh man does this thing sing! All the way up, and it's the best box of fuzz on planet Earth! This amp has so many great tones in between the clean and fuzz though. What a great box of fun!
Z fan for life!
Thanks Doc for changing lives one amp at a time.

I was able to get back into a Monza last spring. I love being able to just plug in and play whatever I want - high gain, no gain, clean, fuzz and all manner in between. Lots of fun!
Glad to hear you are loving your's Ron!

I miss mine all the time. Truly a unique tone that can't be duplicated with a pedal. I loved mine with a WGS Reaper 55hz ....gave it a more American flavor and I found a lot of early blues tones....and the fuzz overtones and lend a great feel as a solo amp.
Enjoy!

I plugged in my 50's Strat into mine the other day and it was glorious. Got a bunch of different tones out of it, from really glassy clean to roaring fuzz. It's huge tone in a little box, I still scratch my head when I'm playing it. It sounds so BIG!
