Forgive me if this has been covered, but I read somewhere that there are new "ultra light" ghia combos coming? Who can tell me more? Also, what are the differences in the newer vs. Older CG's? Thanks, in advance.

Thanks, in advance. I don't have any more details but it does say that on the product page for the CG on the website. the light-weight 112 and 210 combos are also on the price list.

The new Ghia in the 1x12 light weight cab weighs only 1 lb more than the old 1x10 did...other than that the amp is the same as it's been component wise since it went to the racing stripe version....but now it has the script logo again.
The older Ghias, before the racing stripe, that had the script logo were a bit faster to break up....these newer ones should have a bit more headroom.
Gosh I miss my Ghia. The ultra-lite cab at 36lbs for a 1x12 in a FULL sized cab not a studio version.....awesome

I miss my old Ghia too, and am looking forward to acquiring another. I had the Anniversary model with the master volume, but for some reason I didn't warm to it like I'd hoped.

Humbucker shows a couple in stock, but they have the racing stripe logo. I would have thought any Ghia new enough to have the LT cab would also have the new retro logo.

Has anybody confirmed the actual real-world weight of the LT 1x12 combo at 36 pounds? Here you go: Took a few measurements with my luggage scale, and everything confirms the 36lbs. For those curious, this one has a Celestion Creamback installed. The amp was just delivered yesterday from Humbucker. They do have the new 'retro' style, you just need to contact them and they will check.

Holy smokes, if they (Humbucker) had told me that I might have gone that direction with the new Ghia I just bought from them. I asked them to weigh it and they told me "right at 40 pounds", which gets it close to Z-Lux territory so I went with a head and 1x10 instead.
Congrats, it's a beauty!

Yours is no slouch either, and I was actually considering a similar configuration (head and 1x10) just before I found this one. I have been keeping my eye out for one like I just got, but I never saw any at ANY retailer. For the heck of it I sent an email asking about lead times last week and they said a few weeks, but then got back to me within the hour saying they had one in their inventory. Build date on the back is 11/16, so they are definitely out there.
I've been Z-less for a few months, and I'm finally back. Out of all the Z amps I've had, the Ghia is the one that I ALWAYS come back to. Now, she's here to stay!! And you definitely can't beat the weight. The new Lite cabs are truly worth it. Makes a great amp even better!
