I've got 2 of these on order. Should be shipping any day now. I'll post some feedback here once they arrive.
CORRECTION... I have two single mini switches with LED's coming.

I ordered one of the 2-button Fender style--not sure when it'll get here, but will post report when it does.

If I keep my Z Lux after I get my Cure I'd love to have one pedal to do trem, verb and variable boost! I'm pretty sure I could buy his 3 button version and add the pot for the boost and I'd have it!

$60 with the RCA cables? That seems super high for such an easy thing to build. You could build it for $15. It does look heavy duty though.
I built my own, and I have to say it is SO great to have LED's with the Z-Lux.

I'm STILL waiting for mine. I received a ship notice like 3+ weeks ago. Love their products, but things just seem to move ridiculously slow with them.

I just heard from them--still building mine. I get the feeling it's one guy in a garage somewhere. But the quality's excellent, so there's that.

I built mine out of a heavy electrical switch box. I love the LEDs. Easy to build if you are fairly soldering competent.
Be warned . . . What you get and what you build will not be as quiet as the Good Doctor's switch. But, i needed the LEDs.

Well I emailed Loop Master today, and got a reply right away. He is Brian from somewhere in KY. He said it takes 6-8 weeks. So guess we'll have to grin and bear it. In my case, the stock footswitch stopped working on the reverb side. The rca jacks that plug into the rear of the amp are not especially very heavy duty, and there is little to grip onto. So I am looking forward to getting this upgrade.

Been Waiting a month for mine..... It takes a day to build one once you have the parts! I just reused the Dr. Z cable that came with his pedal. If you have any soldering skills, it is quite simple to build.

Still waiting here. Been nearly 8 weeks. I emailed the fella and got back his standard pre-written reply that I got earlier. Guess he doesn't like to be bugged. Not the most encouraging buying experience to say the least.

I've bought a couple of things from him in the past and not had a problem. Will give it a couple more weeks and if he still hasn't shipped will notify PayPal.

^^^ Patty is my wife and primary cable builder at Pro Cables N Sound.
She builds really good stuff. She builds 'em, I break them and the she builds them until I can't break them and then we make them available to our customers.

I've been trying to break their cables for a couple of years now and I have failed. PCNS knows their stuff.

Ive bought a handful of loopers from Loopmaster. Hes incredibly slow.
Anyway...
When I got my Z Lux I was very disappointed in the footswitch for the trem / verb. I would love a switch like the EQ bypass which comes in a nice robust enclosure. The fact people are ordering upgrades and making their own is unacceptable for a $2400 amp. Overall its not the biggest issue its just kind of crappy.
The nice thick high quality cable twists the footswitch to where its laying on its side. Its a really nice cable. Its a really bad footswitch.
The amp is amazing. Please design a new footswitch! The amp would have no negatives, not even minor annoyances.

It is actually a very good quality footswitch for the KIND of thing it is. Typical of Fender era switches. My only issue with it is that I like lights on things so I know they are on. If I didn't need the lights, I would have no problem using the switch that came with the amp. Most of the people who want to buy an upgrade are doing so for that reason, not because the switch is less than quality. Nothing Dr. Z makes is crappy quality, at least that is my experience so far. When I decided to build it, I emailed DRZ.com with a question about it, and Doc answered me personally to remind me about grounding the switch to avoid noise, which I thought was over and above in the customer service department

Doc's been through his explanation before on his choice of pedal. Here is an abbreviated version of his explanation: "it is a Fender pedal, a very expensive Fender pedal. That is the same pedal that has been used on Fender Blackface amps for 50 years without a problem. I first used nicer looking REV/TREM pedals but the footswitches popped when engaged. Extremely poor quality mechanical switches, but boy did they look good......."

The Doc's are better! I use his in the studio. I use the ones i built on stage. I need that "LED crutch" of knowing what's on.
