Got my therapy back today. My friend who I sold it to is more of a high gain player. So glad that it all worked out like it did. Played it today and was going back and forth between it and the Z-lux. The Z-lux is more pristine and warmer sounding. Where as the therapy is more in your face fatter sounding and a tad bit more raw. Really fat sounding. Cuts through the mix really well. The tone stack on the therapy is also very interesting and you can dial in pretty much whatever you want. Man I am so glad to have this amp back. My cab has the Z speaker in it and it also compliments the therapy very well as Doc stated. Back in therapy! Feeling better already!

The Therapy is a chameleons chameleon. Also, it is more than willing to go places I wouldn't have thought of and stretches my ears. When I am gassing for another amp I just try to dial that sound into Z ol' Therapy and often come away satisfied.

Glad for you! I liked my Therapy very much, but the head + cab was a bad idea in the first place in my home configuration. I would probably regret it... if I hadn't my Z-Lux combo. The sound, the combo configuration plus reverb and trem made my choice easier. But my strat into the Therapy was of the best tones I have ever experienced.

I only play strats too. The therapy is a awesome amp for strats. I like em both. I actually can get a great tone with the therapy at home. It sounds great at any volume to me. I mainly use my Z-lux live. But I switch them up once in a while. I agree the combo is more practical

Yes the master control is amazing on the Therapy. I had a Brake Lite for it, but I sold it cause it wasn't useful at all with such a great master volume. I couldn't take it off from my Z-Lux though, cause it is actually needed there for home use.
