Quick question on the RXjr tone stack. Is it Baxandall, kinda Voxy? When you take the bass and treble down does it raise the mids?
Zeroing in on this amp. Not looking for a Voxy sounding Dr. Z per se, but I am coming off of a boo-tek Voxy clone and just want to retain some of that feel...
Any help is greatly appreciated!

This is a good question... I can't remember how they interact--maybe I'll have to mess with my Rx Jr to see if raising the Highs/Lows drops the Mids, in that Vox kind of way.
As far as it being "voxy" though, yes I definitely consider the Rx Jr. (through my Weber alnico Blue Dog, a Celestion G12 Blue copy) to be the amp in my collection that covers the "clean Vox" sounds. It definitely gets dirty, too; although to my ears it's more of a marshally overdrive/distortion. But clean-voxy for sure, in fact that's my favorite sounds out of it--for dirt, pedals work spectacularly with it, too.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I am a low-gain guy per se. I like those edge of breakup cleans. Good info. Apreciate the feedback.
