Just got a 2002 38 w/reverb head to add to the 18 and kt-45 I have. This amp is simply amazing, the fullness and depth I can hear with this bad boy almost makes me cry! I love the reverb on this it's not as over the top as I thought it would be it compliments the rest of the amp perfectly at least to my taste. These amps are simply just great!
Can't wait to lock myself up later today and keep finding tone nirvana! Had to share my excitement with you all

Congrats! Been using my 38 reverb head almost exclusively since 2010, love it still! Can I ask, how do you find your Maz Sr compared to your Maz Jr? Been considering changing my Ghia for a Jr, but keeping the Sr of course! Is there a case for owning both?

LOVE my 2004 MAZ 38sr!! It was my first Dr.Z and although I use my MAZ 8 studio mainly nowadays, I'm still in love with my 38!!

Been considering changing my Ghia for a Jr, but keeping the Sr of course! Is there a case for owning both? sorry the such delayed response to your question. The short answer is I've decided to sell the jr because the 38 is just exactly what I wanted the jr to do but with more head room. The Jr is a fabulous amp hands down and such great tones on almost any setting. The sr just gives me a little more bottom end and like I mentioned some more headroom. And both amps have that great break up when pushed.

No problem, thanks for responding; that's exactly my thinking when I originally tried a Jr but ended up with the Sr. More headroom, more solid in the bass, and a bit smoother sounding too. I could still use a Jr as well though!
