I've been the proud owner of a Maz 18 head for about 6 years. The reverb has always been noisy (this is pre-improvement, I guess) and had failed altogether on one occasion, requiring repairs.
Some time during the past two years, it must have failed again (I hadn't used the reverb in months, so I didn't notice until now). Connections are all secure (inside the bag and on the chassis) and tubes are fine, but reverb is dead.
I could just leave it in its broken state, but I'm now curious about the circuit differences between an NR and a reverb model. Could the amp be rewired to take the reverb out of the circuit so I never have to worry about repairing it again--and give me all the reported benefits of an NR model?

Got my Maz Junior "NR" on ebay about a year ago for $1150. My Blonde Vibro King collected alot of dust until last week and I ebayed it. Currently looking for a Senior 112 combo. Anybody know of one? Non reverb FatSound special order amps are awesome with the unmolested circuit and effects loops.
