New to the Dr Z forum, I just purchased a lightly used M12 combo, this is the 1-12 version w Celestion Greenback. I have played through a friends Z28 which is a great sounding amp. I'm looking forward to seeing how the M12 works out. It's a bit bigger than I expected, is the 10" version a smaller cabinet? I just played it for a little at bedroom volume this evening, I like it so far.

Some of Doc's amps are available in a 'Studio Combo" that is smaller and lighter as well. The M12 specs don't list the amp as being available as a studio combo, however.

Congratulations and welcome to the Forum! A lot of good people and information here. If you are a pedal kind of guy, this amp will definitely be for you. Doc designed it originally as a clean platform for people that want to use pedals to get their own sound. Definitely a great sounding amp. Enjoy!
