I know this is come up before. I know that a remedy in a combo format does not exist. I did see a picture of another forum member that had someone make them a cabinet for their remedy.
I'm moving towards getting myself another Z amp, and as much as I love what I'm hearing when I watch the demos on the remedy, I can't work with a head/cabinet setup. I really need a combo.
I'm sure it's been asked, but I'll ask again...any reason the good doctor doesn't make a combo version? There must be one. Does anyone know if he did any testing, and determined that maybe the combo version of the remedy was sonically displeasing, and he found that the remedy was really only good in a head/cabinet format? I know that the doc wouldn't put out an amp in a way that he wasn't 100% confident in. I'm just curious as to if anyone knows why?

I don't think it has anything to do with the sound of a Remedy combo. I believe that it comes down to Doc is a small shop (less than 10 people) and he has to make trade-offs. Being that the Remedy is a Marshally kind of amp most people prefer their Marshall-style amp as a head and not a combo. Paulie T. (rest his soul) had Harvey make him a Remedy combo that is for sale at a music shop in New England (it shows up on E-bay regularly). Paulie knew tone and wouldn't have an amp that didn't sound great. I found it - looks like someone bought it. www.ebay.ie/itm/Custom-Dr-Z-Remedy-Tube-Combo-Amp-Celestion-Gold-Speaker-Air-Brake-Free-Shipp-/111827354682

I'd still like to see the production of a remedy combo though!

That would be great especially if it came with a stock creamback speaker
