I'm honestly surprised at how much I love the Z Verb.....I had a good hour last night and today I played a few hours....I expected to like it and even love it but I didn't think it would 'move' me. I've had guitars and amps move me....but I didn't think a reverb could do it....reverb seems like an ordinary effect and one that I thought little of...as in not impressed with.....certainly not as cool as say a Fuzz or POG or phasers...I recently traded for a Spaceman Orion and really liked it...it's certainly more springy than the Z Verb which feels more like rooms in a reverbs mind.
The Z Verb meshed with the Therapy so well....like a good lady does to a fella it kinda rounded off the edges and warmed up the signal....filling it out and making it even more 3D. This Reverb has soul and with my trusty Strat I was catching all kinds of groovy groves.
I really don't know how Z does it. I constantly have under expected.....his designs keep surprising me and over delivering. Therapy > Z Verb > Stratocaster =. Good feelings.
I'll try to get some video proof of the water damage my house is taking on from all the wetness my new Z Verb is pouring forth.

I'm digging the whole environment in that room, on that porch, etc.

I'm just bumping this up to gush on the Z Verb some more......
Really surprised at just HOW MUCH this Z Verb sweetens the whole vibe .... Almost like some people use a Klon or Klone or maybe even a Timmy to just sweeten the tone a bit.....sounds great with the Strat and the LP, loud or quiet, with or without gain or fuzz.....
It can sound like a big room...warehouse, or it can get that springy poppy thing going....looks smooth in silver....really chill. I haven't turned it off yet.
Very inspiring. Very musical. Like sweet tea on a hot day in the shade.....coooooool man.

Z-Verb with my Maz 18; still puts a smile on my face. I had another tube reverb before but it didn't compliment my amp like the Z Verb does. Is your MAZ a NR?

Yes. It is a NR. And I run the Z-Verb through the effects loop.

Sell that quantum silver to me and buy a different color!! Im serious The Z Verb was my first NEW Z after years of used buying. My intentions are to never part with my Cure, Z Verb duo. Sorry. If I was you I'd buy the one for $500 on the buy n sell and be happy. But I do like the silver. Either way, the Z Verb is a steal at that price no matter the color. Keep an eye out for a silver if you must and one will show eventually....mine seemed random.
