IS this amp that good and the one that everyone desires and keeps? After 2 days of hard searching, I finally located a 2009 Dr.Z EZG-50, Which leads me to believe no one wants to part with this amp model.......I love my Carmen Ghia but it lacks in clean headroom. So I began my search for a "Z" with loud clean headroom, when I stumbled upon recommendations for the EZG. I then decided this sounds like the amp for me, I'll grab one....
One problem....
Wasn't that easy. I found a few sites that had them listed only to find they didn't update their website after I got my hopes up...lol Are these amps that really good? I had a Stangray and got rid of it and regretted it but after everything I've read on this amp it sounds ideal for me.
I should recieve it by Friday so I am stoked about giving it a try through my zWreck (2x12 Blue/Gold) and my 1x12 Dr. Z (Vintage 30) cab....I'll update when I recieve it....

Congrats! Also, beware those "pre" and "post" volumes are not just simply a pre & post volume (gain) control. If you crank the Pre and bring down the Post (as we would on most master-volume amps) you're not gonna really get that great saturation or overdrive.
Go ahead and turn the Post up fairly high, and even with the Pre lower you'll be able to get that super-fat, slightly-overdriven, authoritative monster tone that makes the EZG so awesome.
