Hey guys, there are a couple of songs I need to get some Vox tones from. I've got the Fender settings down and that's really what I bought this amp for. But can somebody chime in as to good Vox settings?
Oh yeah, while y'all are at it, Marshall settings too! Thanks

Do not be afraid to max the M. Close your eyes and spin until you find what you are looking for.

Thanks Shane, I am curious if you are recording, and if so, are you going directly into the amp to get a pure tone from the amp? Or do you change settings for certain songs while playing live? For my personal playing rehearsal I like to set the amp up on the gritty side of clean and then step on my Galileo pedal for that Queen tone and the Dirty Little Secret for the Marshall AC/DC Hendrix and Zepplin tones. I like the straight amp tone for blues stuff of rhythm. I am quite impressed with the interaction of the amp and some of these tone specific pedals. I will be curious of recommendations for those Vox and Marshall tones from the amp as well.

This is for live playing. I don't have a Voxy pedal and am not in the market for one. This is just for a couple of songs really, but I, like you purpletele, set my rig about like yours.

depends on the guitar. center position on strat..MV 3/4 or dimed...I turn bass off, set guitar to 5 on tone controls and about 8.5 or so on volume, amp volume I start around 9...once I get the bite and the mix going I roll up the bass to round it out and to give it the juice. Then I use the rest of the vol. on the guitar to vary attack and tone..I leave tones at 5 for the most part, sometimes have to roll the treb off. With this set up I don;t have to mess with the amp..the guitar eq and volume does everything...
