At one time, I owned a Ghia, a Maz 18, and a Maz 38. I swapped the 38 for a Remedy. I sold/traded myself out of the Ghia and the Maz 18. Now someone is wanting to give me what I have in my Remedy, and I'm thinking about letting it go. My other amps are a 90's USA tweed Pro Jr., a Mesa Maverick short head, and a Music Man RD50, which I'm about to have modded by Ed Goforth.
Am I losing my mind?

You're probably 100% correct, yet I was looking for more insight.

Sometimes we just have to change things up before we realize that wasn't the swiftest move ever.

You have to ask yourself which amps you really treasure and use, and which are not that. I have a couple of Z's, but my Pro Jr. and Deluxe Reverb get some play too...it really just depends on the gig, time frame, portability, etc. Some people just HAVE TO TRADE/SELL stuff 'cause it's fun, or a challenge, or it's just not-quite-there yet....or whatever. I went through a Ghia, Route 66, Galaxie, and a MAZ 38 before settling into the Remedy and a MAZ 18. So, no, you're not losing your mind, but I don't know that anyone here can actually tell you what to do. Your answer is within, young Skywalker.

The real problem is that you have owned a Z-28 yet ! Do that and you'll never be without a Z amp !

The Maverick is a great amp! Before Mesa sort of lost their way...

It has been said the thrill is in the chase. I believe that many of the forum devotees have a wide range of tones in their ears/heads and one amp, no mater how amazing can get all of the sounds we want. There is the other issue of volume. Good drive at a reasonable volume doesn't cut it when you need to turn it up (at least I have found this to be true. We also change what we play and this will often amen a change in gear. Many here play the Tele, the only tool for the songs they play. There are Strat-a-holiday, SG-fanatics, and those who will play only the Lester. I look at it as an evolution in tone and we will never be satisfied. We evolve, so to speak. I hated ******* when I was growing up, but now I can enjoy it. May not play it, but I can at least listen to it. I say "Play on" with what ever amp/guitar/effects give you the sound you want. Play on! (I seem to have ranted (beer influence)). ME

Eh, it's just stuff. Buy it, sell it, trade it, or don't.

You are victim of the "grass is greener" syndrome so many of us fall prey to.
Luckily for you, the grass is indeed pretty green elsewhere, if you so choose. But eventually, you'll look back at that green, green grass of (Z) home, and get another Z. Happened to me...

The Maverick is a great amp! Before Mesa sort of lost their way... I second that, Frank. I've still got a 1x12 combo -- had also owned a 2x12 combo -- and it is not going away.

If you can live without the Remedy, let it go. I sold my first Remedy. My second? Not a chance.

Why would you wanna sell yer last Z (a Remedy)?
Well, that's simple! To buy a Z-Lux, of course!

I had a few remedy's and sold them . There are times I wish I held on to one of them. Mainly my non master volume version. I actually saw a blonde remedy at GC a few days ago online in the used section for 999.00 I almost pulled the trigger! It was gone the next day! It was exactly like my old non master volume Remedy. Great amp. I now own a Z-Lux and that amp has pretty much satisfied my tone chasing obsession.

Don't do it! I sold mine about a month ago. I shouldn't have, but I was buying a piece of gear and felt like I needed to free up a few bucks. I let the Remedy go because I knew I could find another one, but man, I miss it bad already.

JUST GOT MY REMEDY HEAD BACK!!!
I traded some stuff, some that I treasured, some that I wasn't going to use, and reacquired my Remedy. I've been enjoying it ever since. Why did I ever trade this amp???

Cuz you don't know what you got til it's gone!
I'm on my third one right now. The only way I would sell is if I could find my original red Remedy!

^^^^I think I spotted your Red Remedy behind a stack of amps in one of your pictures. It's been there all along, like a dust bunny.

I KNOW I'm very late for this party but Man oh man every time Ive sold any of my Z's it was regretted:( Even the remedy which I never bonded with , I had the original model no master no BP EQ , However the Z's I have bonded with that I don't have anymore , Have taught me a valuable lesson, one I'm getting ready to do again but different circumstances justify it this time. I love their simplicity and most models I have had actually served well beyond their design tonalality, DRZ amps are very special and the people who play them and build them. there is not any other amp co or any company that I know of who goes the distance and are committed to tone like they are, KEEP YOUR Z's, I'm gonna start building back my fleet at the first f 17' maybe a rem will be the newest addition
