Hmm, 4x10 combo. I think one of the fellows --not Mike -- on FB had one along with a bunch of other Zs in a posted pick.

Mike (jaguarguy) has a glorious sounding Z28 4x10 combo. Would never want to move it for him but it sounds great

I'm hoping Mike will chime in , the Z-28 logo is pretty cool on this one and I was wondering if that's the way the earliest ones looked.

Definitely an early Z28 4x10 combo - a great amp. I do have one (Doc didn't make that many) but it has a newer faceplate. It weighs a little more than 70 pounds - a heavy amp. Definitely not a traveller! This is still a bit expensive but getting closer to a reasonable price.

Thanks Mike! It is a really cool looking amp and it must sound great. 70 lbs.....Oy!! The logo on this one really grabs me, too cool.

I really like that logo also. The brushed gold and matching grill cloth/piping is a classic look!

That is so cool. That would be a fun ride. It has the same color scheme of my Mazerati from '00. The Doc told me a while back he had a limited number of the gold panel sets. I think it's a great look.

I looked at it again. It is from 2000 - the 11th Z-28 ever made. That makes it pretty early!

Cool Sean , I hadn't seen a Z-28 plate like that until now.

Sean, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't yours the first 28? SN xxx01?

I have the head version of that Z-28 with the gold plate/cloth and piping. Not sure of the year. It's what started the whole thing for me.

Cool Sean , I hadn't seen a Z-28 plate like that until now. Yup, those are the earliest ones, I believe. Best lookin' one I've seen was blonde with wheat cloth, I believe, and the gold faceplate. That "Z28" logo keeps messing with me, though.. reminds me of some other amp called "Cyclone" or "Hurricane" or something like that... anybody know what I'm talking about enough to help my poor brain? Maybe I'm just imagining things.

Sean, I have to ask? Did I sell that to you because I had one identical to that a few years ago?

Bought it when I was living in Okinawa or Florida. Well, I'm sure I had number 1 or 2 and it very well could have been 14 years ago! I've had to change my handle because I lost my original password and had to start over again! I do remember shipping several amps to Florida over the years!
