Just another testimony to the QUALITY of this amplifier..... It took about a 4ft fall off of my handtruck this weekend, in nothing but a padded clamshell, landing on the cement sidewalk. I was cussing myself & feeling gutted. The next day after I settled down, I pulled the Ghia out of its case. No new blemishes on it, no bends in the chassis, tubes in tact. I turned it on & it works just dandy. Whew !!! I love you Carmen Ghia ! They not only sound great, they're built like the proverbial tank. Glad you didn't lose a tube, they're always the weak link.
