They roar in this amp when cranked. Literally roar. Maintain string definition but power chords just seem to have endless sustain.

I got a smart phone a few weeks ago still figuring it out. Smart phone dumb user. I'll fool around with it next time I get a chance with no one home and see what happens.

Frank, that Flying V looks exactly like the one that I sold about 10 years ago to a music store in south west Michigan...It was originally a white one but the finish was trashed and was peeling off, revealing a beautiful mahogany underneath. I finished it in about 8 coats of tung oil and it was beautiful. Is that possibly my old V?

Not this one Dave - Back in May 1975 my brother and I both bought one brand new after waiting 2 months for the dealer to get them in. Gibson had announced they were re-issuing them and we both went straight in and ordered them. This one is his , I bought it from him about a year ago. (I sold mine a long time ago , he kept his) I have the case key still in the little envelope , hang tag and strap too. Here's more about it: ztalk.proboards.com/thread/66755/1975-flying-updateThe pots are date coded December 1974
