Yeeow! That layout (tube locations and even the way the chassis metal is folded out on the ends) looks a lot like Doc's 25th Anniversary model. I guess he built a pretty accurate "reissue" after all! Congrats on bringing this gem into the muZeum.

It's cool how there is no tube chart - Doc just stamped the chassis in front of every socket what tube goes where! You can see them in the second picture if you look closely.

I love the location of the fuse holder. I'm really thankful Doc made them a tad more accessible on his later iterations...........

Wow congratulations Mike! How long have you been looking for one of these? Any idea what the ohm rating is for the speaker out? I've got an old Peavey want to trade?

I've been looking for one of these for almost 7 years - first one I actually found for sale. Like most of Doc's other amps this one is an 8 ohm out. Peavey, eh? Well maybe if it's one of those new fangled solid-state amps.

Sweet! How does it sound compared to the current model? Is the any difference in tone or is it a completely different amp?

I'll bet it will sound even better if you leave it on for a day or so without a speaker load!
