That's quite a rig you're taking to the gig tonight...extra points for sitting the head over a pair of blues! You'll experience some of the best cleans you've ever heard, and wait until you step on an OD pedal! Hope you're in a big room.

Big room helps. I'm not sure if the glorous high-volume tone of this thing is from speaker breakup or ear breakup. It's LOUD!!

I plugged my Stang Ray head into my little 1x12 cab with an old EV. Really pretty sounding. These amps like every speaker!

I've tried several speaker combos, and Yes, they all sound great with Ray. Ray also takes pedals really well.

I've been really busy lately with work and such, and I've also been doing 2-3 gigs a week. This is the first time since I got the amp that I've been able to bring it in the house! I'll post a full report on the new Stang shortly. I've gotten to use it in a variety of settings already. Outdoor festival, small club, couple of medium clubs, etc. All I can say so far is..............this amp does not disappoint!! Can't wait to try it with a few different cabs. Has anyone tried it with Greenbacks or Weber's new 1225? I've always loved the Greenback, and I'm dying to try them with the Stang! Evan

I can see why you flipped the standby switch for the pic. At that volume and range, you'd be deaf for a week!

Photos on the web do not do justice to a blonde with black and tan grille cloth.
