Always used a Celestial Alnico Gold with my Stangray - But I just tried the Alnico Cream & it is STELLAR !!! - MUCH better , I guess it makes sense since it is like a high powered Blue & the ray loves 2 -blues .... also the cream & the gold are killer as well - just saying

I've been real interested in the alnico Cream. From everything I'm hearing its' the best of blue & gold and then some.

When I had my second 'ray...I loved the creamback M with it. (I'm more of a ceramic guy) And at only 97db, I enjoyed the lower volume.

I think the bass is much tighter than the Blue and it has a nice woody throaty texture.

I think the bass is much tighter than the Blue and it has a nice woody throaty texture. Thanks. That is what I was hoping to hear. Plus most the people who have had the gold and loved the gold have raved about the cream.
