So, first off let me say that the Therapy is the tone I've been searching for and my all time favorite amp. It has it all from magical tone to rugged tube life and design. If I was a "somebody" this suggestion would probably matter, but here it goes;
I'll bet that if a Therapy Junior existed they would fly off dealer's shelves nationwide. Of course I search for more Z amps, but in the lower wattage range, and something that sounds and performs to the EXACT specs of my all time favorite. I know the Therapy is a new line from Dr. Z, but come on...we all know it's gonna be an all time classic!

a 40W Therapy with a half power switch, a la the Remedy, would be like breasts on a cupcake. I'd buy two...

That may become an available mod in the future for this amp but in the meantime those amps exist Remedy 40/20 watt Z-Lux 40/20 watt Carmen Ghia 18 watt Maz series 18 watt and on and on ... only drawback is you have to buy them ( not really a drawback but I know where getting at )

I love my Maz 18 and Monza, but a big bottle amp that could take 6L6, 6V6 and EL34 tubes with the option of 20W mode would be way too good to pass up.

Well the Therapy already has the MV which seems to me to be better than a half power switch AND can take JJ6V6, EL 34, KT 77 and others....I think the coolest thing would be to release one with Tremolo, no reverb just a great tremolo.
But I do agree about the Therapy being a great amp. I like mine better every time i play it.

Half power Therapy = Therapy + Airbrake on 1 click. There it is. It's much more fun to tell the people that actually know what they're doing what products they should be offering!!! I'll be in Therapy soon enough, with or without a half power switch...

I think the supernatural mojo of the Therapy comes as a package deal......just as it is! Change it in any way, and it ain't a Therapy............ Two things have already been said - best MV in the business (I've been playing mine at sitting room levels this evening, and it STILL sounds better than most anything else); or an AirBrake. I understand why a half power switch would be desirable, but that doesn't mean half volume........just ask a Remedy player (I played one of those for about a year before I got the Therapy............. great amp, but sounded better on full power with an AirBrake IMHO)

I've never played a MV Remedy, but I dug the older Remedy at 20 watts. It's just the 20 watt range is such an attractive package for any tube amp, whether you gig or play at home.
But yes, the PPIMV on the Therapy is amazing. My Maz 38 is long gone, but from memory, the 38 watts of the Maz seemed way louder than the 35 of the Therapy, both through 2x10's. That was my initial concern before I was able to spend some time with the Therapy.
