I'm sure it's been covered, but I've been over at the "high gain" amp forums and missed it.
What is the difference in a Stingray and a Stang Ray??

I'm sure it's been covered, but I've been over at the "high gain" amp forums and missed it. What is the difference in a Stingray and a Stang Ray?? <puffed up chest mode> Well, the Stingray has all the mojo - it's way better, has those bits of unobtanium that make the greatest sound on earth, but you can't get those bits any more. Yeah, that's the ticket. </puffed up chest mode> Ok, I give. There is no difference except the paint on the panel. The doc had to change the name because of another product with the same name. That's all...

I always thought there were no Mantarays. How about a pic of the front panel?

Hey! I'm actually Billy Ray. I had an aunt whose nickname was Billie and her husband was my Uncle Ray. When I was born I was named William Ray, the idea was that I'd be called Billy Ray. I'm older the the mullet wearing country singer so I was here first! Some people have called me that over the years but as far as nicknames go the only one that ever stuck eas Billyguitar. I even had people trying to find me in the phone book by that! At one time so many people called me that, that lots of folks thought that was really my name. Pretty funny to me.

Do they have #51,52,53,54, for the last two digits ? ;D ;D ;D ;D Well, with that reasoning, the first Stang Ray would be 55, no?
