I just ordered a Dr Z 1x12 Convertible cab with a Z 12 in it. The folks at Dr Z recommended the Z 12 or a Creamback for my Dote and other Z's. I am curious if anyone else has tried the Dote with a Z 12?

The Z-12 is a great speaker, very warm right out of the box. Great for taming the high end on an amp that gets fizzy/ice-picky when overdriven/distorted (not sure if that's the 'dote or not). The Creamback in my experience has a lot more upper-mid/high-end emphasis and a good bit less bottom than the Z-12. They'd be pretty interesting run together in a 2x12 cab--a real ying/yang thing.

Cool, I can't wait to hear how it goes with everyone. It will be a while until my cab arrives

Well I have been playing through it for a month at home and it sounds very good to me. Of course the real test is out live but as far as I am concerned it is a winner!
