I got the Therapy so I could keep up with my friends 30 watt Bogner Metropolous....my Carnen Ghia and Monza seemed to get lost a little because of all the overdrive and distortion at loud volumes and the Therpy made me feel like I had the POWER back. The 6L6 maintain authority at all volumes. The master is extremely usable just like the Monza was. The Therapy has great cleans, especially with low output pickup guitars like Stratocasters usually are, but i love all the variety of gritty tones it has.
The MONZA has more of its own voice to me but the Therapy can have many voices but the same power and smoothness....the Therapy is like a Zen amp, both sharp and round...both bright and dark.

That's good to hear. I've been on the other side of that equation which has led me on this quest to right size once and for all. My Mesa's would just bury my one guitar player's Fender Blues Deluxe and Orange AD30. Then, when I'd play with the other band, they just sounded so mushy and undefined up against a ÷13 RSA31. The Maz 38 2x10 buries all three of those amps without an attenuator.
Part of me is a little hesitant about gigging with an 18 and 20 watt-er all the time, so it would be nice to have that extra 35 watts, 6L6's and a quality MV for jamming at home and recording.

Finally; somebody here besides me played a Mesa F50 before they got into Zs.
It was a good amp, but I'm not going back.
No way...

It definitely carried on the heritage of the old Mark series before Mesa got all knob and switch happy. Out of all the mass producers, Mesa and Bogner still do it best, but nothing beats a good old fashioned, American made, handwired PTP tube amp.
