I have had my Maz Jr R since early 1998, I think it was the 8th one that Z built. It has one input with a boost switch on the back. The cabinet Z used back then is much smaller than the later models. I primarily play blues with a Relic Tele with Rio Grande Muy Grandes. Anyhow I have always setup my Z with the following setting - T, M, Master at 12:00; B at 9:00, V at 12:00 to 1:00; R - 10:00 to 12:00; Cut 10:00 to 11:00.
With my newly acquired Airbrake I have been playing with the settings recently and was interested in other peoples favorite settings for Tele style guitars.

I have a American Deluxe Tele and use a FD2 as well for overdrive on the Flat mids setting. I have been running my amp at 12 oclock on volume, T 10, M 1, B 11, Master accordingly, cut about 10 and reverb at 9 in a small room but usually off at gigs. I find that on the Flat mids setting on the FD2 I need to push the mids a little more on the amp with the Tele in order to get it to cut in the mix with the band. I am interested to know what you think of the Airbrake with the Maz 18? I would like to run the volume full out and the master at about 2 oclock, but it is still too loud with those settings.

I play an american tele b-bender with stock pickups. T at 1, M at 3, B at 2. The volume totaly depends upon the room. I have run it full out, man it was loud! Usualy the master is at 2-3 and preamp volume 2-4. I normaly keep the cut pretty low. Reverb depends on the song and the room. I use a Fulldrive rarely, a boss tremelo often and a Dano echo sometimes for the rock a billy vibe. I love my amp.

I play a Stonetree Roscoecaster tele (Fralin P-90 in humbucker box and blues special bridge). Treble & Mid around 10 o'clock, bass is maxed, Cut around 9 o'clock, Vol 12 to 1, Master around halfway depending on venue and just a touch of reverb. I'll kick it up with a tube screamer or Boss OD.

I've used a variety of Teles with my Maz Jr and Maz Sr. My main ones are a Dunlavey D'Axe, which is a stock vintage style Tele with Lindy Fralin Blues Specials, and a Valley Arts Custom T Series with Seymour Duncans, including a Strat pickup in the middle position. I always run the master volume on my amps wide open, mainly to bypass it ince I normally need the full capacity of the power amp. In clock settings, my amps pretty much stay the same- Vol- Depending on venue, anywhere from 11 o'clock to 2 o'clock Treble- Usually right at 12 o'clock Middle- 1 to 2 o'clock Bass- Around 11 o'clock Cut- Around 9-10 o'clock Verb- usually around 8-9 o'clock (just a splash, since LESS IS MORE! )

Well I have been playing with my Z settings for a bit with my new Airbrake and my Tele and here is what I have preferred for playing some Tab Benoit style blues.
Volume - 3:00 T,M - Maxed Out B - 3:00 Master - 11:00 to 12:00 Cut - 10:00 to 11:00 Reverb - 10:00 to 12:00
Airbrake - I start this off at 4 during rehearsal and drop it to 3. The only drawback with using the Airbrake is that you lose all the wonderful speaker harmonics/breakup with the attenuation. Other than that it still gives you great feel while keeping rehearsal volumes and reasonable levels.
FD-2 - Using the Flat Mid setting.
