I've been trying to solve this issue for about 2 months now and still can't seem to find the root of the problem. The problem is that my amp creates some crackling and popping noise behind my playing. It's hard to describe, but it's very distracting. I tried changing all the tubes except for the rectifier tube, no change. Tried without my pedalboard, different guitars, cables, etc. No change.
What can I do to change this? I've been renting amps for the past two months and still can't figure it out. Please help!

Well you should swap the rectifier just to eliminate all tubes.
Then check the four mounting bolts for tightness and check Jacks and Pots nuts.
If this doesn't help you'll need to send the amp in or take it to a good tech, surely cheaper then months of rental.

Make sure there are no cellphones on and near the amp within 10 feet at least. You can get crackling and popping through the amp when a phone is looking for a tower. It's especially true of i phones on AT&T. You can turn them to airplane mode to eliminate the problem also.
