Anyone have any experience with the Therapy and 10" Greenbacks?
From my experience in the past, I enjoyed the lower sensitivity/output (or shall I say my wife enjoyed the small difference) compared to the standard Z's when I swapped them into my long gone Ghia 1x10 and Maz 2x10 combos. I enjoyed the tones that were coming out as well. Just wondering if anyone might have experience with the Therapy and the G10's they might be willing to share. I've currently got a Z convertible 2x10 cab.

I have several 10's and am currently useing a Z 4-10 cab stock, sounds good to me. I am not sure there are speakers that will make your amp sound a specific way. If everything were left to unity then yes, but if you put a midrange thick speaker in , and dial out the mids whats the point. I adjust the amp to the speaker to get the sound I hear or if not , this new concept...after 50 years I get it, there are lots of versions of good. I have tried almost as many speakers as I have amps. I play country with celestions, rock with no names...I know the speaker is the last in the chain, and very important. If it don't buzz, humm, crackle or pop. Leaves your amp some headroom then I think you are good. The amp is an instrument, its made to do this stuff. I chased speakers for years, just found out about 10 years ago after 50 years of playing that just about any decent speaker will sound good. Of course personal taste etc is valid, its just I don;t waste alot of time swapping out speakers anymore, as my fenders can do and so can the Z'z , they simply sound good. You would have to have a real crap speaker to kill the tone. YMMV of course.
