I finally pulled the trigger and added a ZWRECK head and cab to the Z arsenal.. However I seem to be having an issue with the volume knob. When I turn the volume all the way down, I still have sound coming through.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Congrats on a dream amp! I've not owned one, but on my Therapy with the volume up .... If the bass, middle, treble are all the way down, no sound comes out. What color did you go with?

Congrats on the amp. I'm traveling at the moment. When I return later this week, I'll see if my Wreck does the same. More likely, though, someone else will get back to you sooner.

My Z Wreck is silent when the volume is at 0. Your best bet is to call the Dr Z shop and see if they can help you out.

I'm pretty sure some of the earlier Wrecks had a little problem will the volume pot going a little wonky. It will likely need to be replaced.
Did you buy this new or used? If it's a used one it may have one of the older pots in there. If brand new, I would just contact the dealer.

Thanks for the responses, I also think the volume pot will have to be replaced and hopefully that will help. It's a 2010, so it is a few years old. I guess I should've titled it "New to me ZWRECk"
I've never had an issue with any of my Z's, and of course it's the most expensive one that has the issues!

congrats for the amp. my Zwreck is totally silent even with the volume pot just turned a tiny little up. and this should be normal if the original pot is used

Thanks Big Kahuna!
I've also noticed I start getting ghost notes when the amp is pushed to around 2 or 3 o'clock. Is this also normal? Thinking a fresh set of tubes, along with the volume pot may be in order.

Yep, ghost notes are probably due to aged tubes....
