Those of you with an original RX, do you find that the amp favors one type of pickup over another?
So far I have played 2 gigs with my fairly-new-to-me Prescription combo. I used my tele at one gig and my tele and a jazzmaster at another. I have a gig tomorrow (the Great Notch Inn, in NJ) and plan to bring my tele and an ES-335. I was very happy with the sound of the tele and the jazzmaster with this amp so far. Playing at home, I find that the 3 position bright switch is very useful in adapting the amp to different guitars/pickups. Yes, this is fun!

I have P90 and Humbucker equipped guitars. It loves both.

Les Paul (i.e. dual humbucker) or Telecaster are my preferences with this amp. This is almost always with classic Greenback clones. I don't prefer it with the Strat so much, but then again my Strat's pickups are really lightly wound and glassy.

As a follow up to my original post, I played my tele and my 335 at my last gig. Flipped the bright switch and made minor adjustments to the EQ knobs when switching between guitars. Both sounded great. The 335 was very thick, in a nice way.
In this band (The Morningwoood Bros.) the other guitar player plays a Les Paul and an SG, so I usually play Fender style guitars for contrast (Tele, Jazzmaster, or Strat). But of course with a new amp it is fun to give all of my guitars a turn at gigs and see how they go with the amp. I usually bring two guitars to a gig. So far I have gigged with the Tele, Jazzmaster, and ES-335 with my Prescription.
