I started getting rattle of the tube itself when playing certain notes, nothing new there right?so I change the Power tubes, which seems to be the cause to me,with new JJ's,and they are rattleing too-same notes.Until the amp is on for a few minutes, and it seems to have stopped.Anyone have experience with this?Maybe I am wrong about the power tubes, but it sure seems like them.I removed the pre amp covers to rule them out.

You might be getting some expansion of the metal inside the tubes once it warms up........

Do you have the rubber donuts on the tubes Walt? Also sometimes the spring retaining clips can rattle on the sides of the power tubes FWIW.

Pull it away from the wall.

Hey Walt. I get tube rattles a lot because I tilt my amps against a wall and it seems to transfer more vibrations to the tubes. I'm OK with it and just change them often. But I have had the rectifier rattle more often than power tubes. I'm not talking about the Therapy specifically, just any tube amp. Usually I can pull the rectifier and shake it to hear the rattle.
I also once had a bad speaker make a noise just like a tube rattle on certain notes.

So I checked everything out, about 8 inches from the wall, not tilted, checked the tubes are in the sockets all the way, retainers I tried to set to where they would normally rest,no rubber rings, but no rattle either.Maybe it was just the retainers.
