I think you guys will all like it. The active eq makes for a lot of flexibility. For example, it seems to me -- I haven't tried it -- that you could set the green side to be pretty clean, maybe a touch of gain, and run the treble up high and effectively have a treble booster.
Also, I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but with gain down on the boost side you can use the level control to significantly reduce volume. Not sure how useful that might be, but you never know.
Note: I've only used the Z Drive with the Z-Lux at this time. Hard to tear myself away from that pairing.

Got it today, took about 6-7 minutes to get both sides dialed in,and make the Therapy a 3 channel amp.Therapy volume on about 10 0'clock,gtr volume lowered when fully clean is wanted,Green side is the dirt,Red side is the roar.
I was totally happy with my Barber Gain Changer, but so glad I got on board with this pedal.Sometimes if it aint broke, fix it anyway. All the happy reviews here are 100% true!
Here's my settings that I'll mostly leave as is.

I really like the Gain Changer -- it's a bargain too -- but the Z Drive is such a great complement to Z amps.

Here's how I'm currently liking mine set up:
Green/Germanium channel--"cut" off (up) so as to be flatter/truer response, Drive at 9:00 and Level around Noon (unity).
Red/Mosfet channel--"cut" on (down) so as to emphasize the mids, Drive at Noon and Level around 9:00 (or just above unity).
EQ's mostly near noon but it's a more global thing depending upon the guitar & amp. I've tried it with a couple amps now, and it seems to work well this way.
Wasn't sure if I should post this here or not... Maybe we need to kick-off a "settings" thread?

Yea I think a settings thread-maybe a settings to compliment each Z amp is in order. And just to mention,as anyone with the Z-drive knows, the drive and level knobs are VERY sensitive.A bit like a Z amp.

You're gonna love it, Steve! I do! Although I am pressed for time at the moment, I've had it in front of the Z-Lux and I'm very impressed. Nice little unit!

Unity is where the "on" volume is equivalent to the "off" volume.
