Has anyone tried a Zbest with the Rx Jr? I currently have a 1x12 convertible cab with a WGS ET-65. I also have a DR Z 4x10 cab. It has the original DrZ speakers. They both sound great, prob liking the 4x10 better. Is the Zbest a step above? I found a used one in red, but I really don't need 3 cabinets! Maybe I do!!

Haven't used an RX Jr, but I recently got a Z 4x10. I already had a ZBest for a couple of months before that. I've found that these two cabs are very different beasts. I've used them with my Carmen Ghia and Therapy heads and also my Axe-FX II quite a bit.
The 4x10 really fills the room and stage with sound. It is very full and alive and I really love it.
The ZBest doesn't put out nearly as much stage sound or "3D" vibe since it is closed back. It seems very clear and articulate. It really throws the sound a long way. I think it's almost louder 20 feet out in the room than where I'm standing right in front of it. It's a great sounding cab to get sound out to the audience, but not as good for throwing sound around the stage. Sometimes that can be a good thing.
The speakers are also really different in these two cabs, so I think they are really different beasts. I hope an RX Jr owner can comment more on that specific experience for you.
