Dont know which forum/heading is the best place to ask this, but here's where I spend my time and you all are pretty wise tone people so I'm asking here. Which amp in the Dr. Z line up is most like a classic Marshall 1974x 18 watt? I love those amps and think my next amp needs to be one(probably an Avatar if I go that route) but I love Dr.Z stuff, trust it, and would rather remain brand loyal if I can. So?

In my mind Remedy seems closest. What type of music do you play??

How about the Maz 18 NR? It has 18 watts, EL84 power tubes, and a 12AX7 pre-amp, same as the Marshall 1974.

Carmen Ghia! 18 watts, 2xEL84, and simple Tone + Volume layout (same as the 1974x's controls, if you don't count its tremolo circuit).
