i'm going to start using a mini for a solo/looper thing i am putting together,, sorta zz top at starbucks,(duncan donuts),LOL,, alls i have is a big monza 1 12 combo cab for the mini z chassis,,, i am sure it sounds the best through an EV12L i have, but it is way too heavy,, do you think a 12" greenback that i have would be the lightest ? any suggestions,, warehouse has light spkrs dont they? eminence tonker lite? thanks for any feedback...

My Mini-Z combo sounds huge with the stock 10" Ramrod. It's an amazing amp. Never have been inclined to plug in an external speaker.

I'd be lookin' at the Eminence Tonkerlite, or maybe scour eBay for a Jensen NEO 12-100. If you're lookin' for both lightweight and lower sensitivity (quieter), the Jensen MOD 12-70 might be good. It's a standard ceramic-magnet speaker, but it's still a small magnet and it's pretty light in weight; it handles overdrive well, too.

hey thanks for all the advice, i am going to put my greenback in my 1/ 12 combo cab and look around for a used tonker lite,,,
