Hi,sound's like a stupid question but what changes can I expect from my remedy when the 6v6's need replacing? I'm well used to hearing the change in el84 and el34 amp's but don't really have any experience with 6v6's? I notice when I crank it that it gets a bit buzzy and indistinct so was wondering do I need to revalve?

I would think you would get years...even decades out of a big bottle amp. They don't wear out like el84s
However, the quality level of manufacturing tubes for several years has been poor. So it's a crap shoot.
My recommendation:
Always keep a spare set. Once a year, pop in the spare set and see if you can tell a difference.

Cheers John, I bought the amp second hand a couple of month's ago and was just wondering if it could be time to change them? Think i'l experiment with some new preamp tube's first I think.

There's a whole thread (maybe two) about preamp tubes and the Rem. I don't have a link but if you search you can find it.
