With environmental concerns they have been phasing out the incandescent lights we've all been used to. First generation CFL's looked awful and made a lot of noise. First generation LED's color was horrible and they didn't dim very well either. Incandescents put out a ton of heat. A full on ton. I replaced every light in my studio today with new dimmable LEDs. I left the lights on full in the vocal booth for 3 hours and it was still cool in there. They look good tool

Awesome! I have replaced almost every light in our home with LEDs. Love them.

The LED lights have come a Real Long Way in the last 2 years. Much better. Better color. Work better with dimmers.

Studio looks great. I have put some LED's in a small personal studio I have in the basement. What I noticed, and it is really meaningless to tone etc., is that I can really see the "A" string vibrate. It's probably a unique light frequency thing. I just find it real interesting. As I said means nothing just interesting to me. Carry-on.

I moved all the LED lights to the new place this spring but haven't used 'em that much.

My first generation LED lights are all starting to fail now - after just about 18 months. I was a little surprised, but they are first generation after all. The latest look much nicer and hopefully will last much longer. We'll see...

I have yet to have a single LED light fail either at home or at the studio. We have a lot of light in the new place.
