Hey all. I know I've had this CG a while, but I had taken a break from my black gospel band and just rejoined them earlier this year. I was very pleased on the first two gigs. The Ghia really cuts though the mix with the ElectraJet. Someone recorded a short video and I thought I sounded just like I was suppose to sound. I was afraid that it might need some compression, but it didn't. The natural overdrive is out of this world and it works really great with both the B9 and the Flying Dragon. It now sits on top of the 1x10 Monza (Thanks Todd) and now I have the best of both worlds. So, if you can get your hands on one of these, I really do recommend it. I would love to have another one!

That is a killer pairing....I love how the two are similar opposites...the Monza seems to pick up where the Ghia leaves off. How do you like your little AMT Wah?

I like it mostly because it's small. I replaced a Fulltone Clyde that bit the dust. It was 16 years old. That wah had more range while this one is more like a Vox or a Dunlop in its sweep. I don't use it much, but it sounds good.

That's a great compact rig you have there, Russell...Does the Monza have the Red Fang speaker in it? I always wondered how the CG would sound with one.

His Monza has a red fang. I used to call it my "little red monster".
The first one of these amps we saw at Zfest a few years ago the term Ghia GT was mentioned but when the production came out it was called Monza. This when Curt blurted out the now famous term "Billy in a box" when Buddy was doing the demo with Doc. I remember Buddy at point saying " man, this really gets it" as Doc continued to crank up the drive knob!

Yes, as Todd said. I think the Ghia sounds great with the Red Fang.
