Officially joined the Dr Z world and bought the Z Wreck head and matching 2x12 cab. Decision was between either the Therapy or a Wreck but there was just something magical about all the Wreck demos I watched....over and over lol. Not going to lie, it was a bit tough to drop the cash but I can't be more excited to get it next week!!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome to the board! Amp is set to arrive tomorrow, been close to ten years since I've had a British flavored amp. Used to be a Marshall guy but I switched to Fenders and been happy since. From what I've read and seen the Wreck has no issues getting the cleans and I can't wait to crank it and first hand test out the overdriven tones.

Wreck arrived earlier this week and I must say it's one loud amp. In fact I decided to really crank this bad boy (silver head and cab) and it was so loud I had a mild headache from it, no joke. Keep in mind with any gear I get there is generally a two week period before I make my decision if I truly like it or not but the loudness of the amp concerned me as I def want to explore more of the overdrive tones but the shear loudness is keeping me from it right now. Think I have an airbrake in my future.

Yup, Brake LIte or AirBrake are pretty much mandatory if you want to get the volume knob up.

Recommend the AirBrake. I run mine on 4 clicks and can't notice a change in tone. That may give you more effective attenuation than the BrakeLite, which a lot of folks seem to like at 2 clicks.
