Looks like you and I are having similar experiences with new gear and slight hickups. I'm getting some crackle when I play anything on the sixth string. I'm going pull the back off and make sure everything is as it should be, but I can already tell this is just what I wanted. I was getting stomps on the ceiling from my upstairs neighbors earlier, so that's got to be a good sign. I turned it up a much as I thought the rest of the house could take (which wasn't even to 9 o'clock on the volume knob) Nice, thick cleans. I can't wait to get to the studio and open her up. Cheers to a week of new gear.
I am glad you are digging it. I am kicking myself for not grabbing the one on the bay the other day. I had a deal going on another one, but have not heard from the guy in a week. So I guess my quest continues...

This thing is unreal. I bought it to use alongside my Ghia as my "clean" amp, which it has in spades, but after practice a few nights ago (the first time I really got to open her up) I don't think the two amp rig is even necessary. By no means am I saying ANYTHING bad about the Ghia. If I had a road crew, it would be right there next to the 45, but since I'm lugging all of my stuff, I think the Ghia is going to be my home/backup/don't wake the neighbors amp for a while.
