I love the KT, don't get me wrong but I doubt I'll ever need that much power.
I am thinking of trading if for either a Z-28 or an M12 for reduced power. I should probably bet that the Route will be all I ever need, I mean who am I kidding right?
So will the z-28 be a noticeable volume drop or are they close in volume in bar size venues? Or will the M12 will be what I need allowing me to crank it while not bleeding the ears of the folks in front of me?

I've had the 28, 66 and 45; sold the 66 as it was a little too thick for my ears, and have had the KT in BST. I think the 28 is plenty (mine is a head converted to a Z 1x10 cab with a C Gold in it), particularly if you add an extension cabinet. A 1x12 added to my rig makes it pretty beefy. For venues where I have to play louder, my Rati v2 with a 1x12 cab and a 2x12 cab can cover that ground pretty well.
