Long as we're asking tech questions, is the full/half power switch OK to change on the fly while the amp is hot or do you need to turn the amp off or at least put it on standby? I thought I read somewhere that you needed to power down but can't locate it now.

Applies to the full/half, speed/comfort (on the Z Wreck) and, I believe, pentode/triode on the MAZ 8 (and Galaxie).

So, just to be sure, standby is OK? Can you change power setting right away after flipping standby or should you wait a moment?

Mine arrived today. Number 26. Awesome!! Bags of sounds in there! Strat sounds fantastic through it and great note clarity with my Les Paul. My P90 loaded SG special growls!! Really dynamic amp, digging in really brings out notes. I mostly play with my fingers these days, it's wonderful hearing how the tone changes by using different parts on my fingertips or striking with my nails. Much bigger in size than my Monza yet it is 3lbs lighter!! Crikey!! I love this amp!!

Played my Grosh (strat). Last night w/a country guy who needed an electric back up for leads. I didn't even have time to adjust it, cept volume. Wow! That guitar and Lux just sounded
fantastic! I had the boost on all night long. We play at low volume and it seemed I had sweet spots everywhere. It was a duo outdoors and we played on wood chips...good thing I
Had my carpet in the car for a nice floor. Anyhow, Les Paul or Strat this thing sounds Great & takes pedals like a champ. I use a Xotic SL and Wampler Plexi-Drive Dlx for Marshalll
Tones. Never had it on 40 watts yet, but nice to know it's there if and when I need it. A Grand Slam Home Run I say. Thanks Dr Z.

It reminds me of a JAZ meets Remedy with a touch of MAZ but with Sparkle not chime. Also has the HI Fi kindalike a A-dote. Hell it's a GREAT ZZZZZZZ! Also sounds like the best Deluxe ever made.
